On September 20, Belleville Police Const. Jeff Smith was critically wounded while confronting an armed man outside Sons of Jacob Synagogue in Belleville, Canada, during Yom Kippur services.
His courageous actions helped protect the congregation inside.
NorCal Shomrim is collecting contributions from our members, friends, and supporters for Officer Smith and his family.
After we receive the funds, NorCal Shomrim will add to the amount collected and make a single group donation in support of Officer Smith.
Please give as generously as you can and share this appeal with others.
May Officer Smith have a refuah shleimah—a complete and speedy recovery. Let us show him and his fellow officers that the Jewish community remembers and supports those who protect us.
